12-Month Contract - Senior Front-End (React) Engineer - Financial Platforms (Through an External Agency Payroll Provider)

Tasks

• Leading the development of highly relevant front-end features and components across our web and native applications.
• Responsibility for front-end architecture and performance, including bundle size, lazy loading, caching, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences on web and mobile platforms.
• Conducting code reviews, identifying and resolving high-risk stability and performance issues.
• Implement effective monitoring and logging strategies to ensure a robust user experience and the collection of user behavior data under market conditions that can result in a 100-fold increase in traffic.
• Promoting best practices and quality standards in front-end development.
• Take responsibility for complex front-end solutions while ensuring scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers and business partners to translate complex requirements into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Delivery of high-quality, production-ready React and TypeScript code for complex financial applications.
• Addressing advanced front-end challenges such as state management, performance optimization, and integration with distributed back-end systems.
• Proactive refactoring and modernization of existing codebases, where necessary.
• Support for troubleshooting and root cause analysis in development and production environments.
• Active participation in an agile, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, with a strong focus on React at the enterprise level.
• In-depth understanding of modern front-end frameworks, tools, and technologies (React, Node.js, web application development).
• Proven experience working with design systems and large, shared component libraries.
• In-depth knowledge of web environments and best practices.
• A strong understanding of finance or fintech concepts. Familiarity with digital assets.
