2026 New Graduate, Global Delivery - Operations, Associate1
Position Description
This position is an entry level job as a daily processor for Fund Accounting / Transaction Processing in Global Delivery. The role involves daily tasks as an initiator.
Global Delivery (GD) at State Street provides asset owners and investment managers worldwide with a range of outsourcing solutions; custody, fund accounting, transaction processing and service for alternative assets and OTC/Exchange traded derivatives.

Your tasks
- Operational responsibilities, including:
- Trade Operations/Investment Management Operations (Fund Accounting)
- Cash, Income, Corporate Actions, Market Data, Derivatives, Reporting, Trade confirmation, Trade process, Trade settlement, Transactions, Pricing, Fund accounting and NAV calculation
- Other responsibilities:
- Perform core processing activities (data collection, data entry into the system and verifications) according to established procedures
- Preparation of all necessary documents/reports on assigned functions, accurately and timely
- Answering relevant questions from different teams in a timely manner
- Tracking and solving problems
- Escalation of complex problems when required and with a sense of urgency to resolve short-term or unexpected issues
- Identify basic risk issues, violations and act in accordance with the current escalation channel and operating procedures
- Accountability for assigned tasks and deadlines
- Continuous identification of knowledge gaps (personal and within the team) and search for training opportunities to improve knowledge
- As State Street serves internal clients, it is expected that work will be performed on Japanese holidays. Peak periods are expected during month ends/quarter ends and year ends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance
- Good analytical skills
- Comfortable in English and Japanese in daily use
- Required: Business Japanese / Advanced English
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
