Abacus Finance and Power BI Specialist (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility

We are looking for a promising and analytical personality to join our team as an Abacus Finance and Power BI Specialist (m/f/d). In this key role, the focus is on

• Data analysis and insights: Performing detailed financial data analyses, identifying trends and anomalies, and deriving meaningful recommendations for action to support decision-making processes.
• Process optimization: Proactive identification and implementation of improvement potential in the areas of Abacus and Power BI.
• Data management, reporting processes, and system functionalities related to Abacus and Power BI.
• Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with finance, risk, IT, and other relevant departments to understand reporting requirements and provide efficient solutions.
• Documentation: Creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation on Abacus configurations, Power BI reports, data models, and reporting processes.
• User support and training: Support and training for end users in the use of Abacus and Power BI functionalities.

Your profile

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in handling financial data; reporting and analysis in the financial services industry.
• Verifiable practical experience with Abacus is mandatory.
• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, including data modeling/management, GAO, business intelligence, and applying best practices in data visualization.
• Experience in using SQL for data extraction and processing.

Technical skills

• Proven expertise in the use of Abacus reporting software.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling).
• Thorough understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is an advantage.
