Abacus Finance and Power BI Specialist (m/f/d)
LGT is seeking an Abacus Finance and Power BI Specialist (m/f/d) to join its team, with experience in data analysis, process optimization, and collaboration with stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 3–5 years of professional experience in the financial services industry and proven experience with Abacus and Power BI.
Your area of responsibility
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as an Abacus Finance and Power BI Specialist (m/f/d). In this key role, the focus is on- Data Analysis and Insights: Conducting detailed financial data analyses, identifying trends and anomalies, and deriving actionable recommendations for optimizing business processes.
- Process optimization: Proactively identifying and implementing improvements in Abacus and Power BI.
- Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with finance, risk, IT, and other relevant departments to understand reporting requirements and provide efficient solutions.
- Documentation: Creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation on Abacus configurations, Power BI reports, data models, and reporting processes.
- User support and training: Support and training for end users in the use of Abacus and Power BI functionalities.
Your profile
At least 3–5 years of professional experience in financial analysis, reporting, and analysis within the financial services industry.- Verifiable practical experience with Abacus is mandatory.
- Extensive experience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, including data modeling, data visualization (SSRS/DAX, business intelligence tools), and the application of best practices in data visualization.
- Experience in using SQL for data extraction and processing.
Technical skills
- Proven expertise in the use of Abacus reporting software.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling).
- Thorough understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is an advantage.
