Head of Operations Accounting

What you can expect

• You will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and payment authorizations, including internal audit and accounting.
• You will lead, coach, and develop your team of four accounting staff members.
• Together with your team, you will ensure compliance with banking controls and the Payment Services Regulation (ZDV & ZSE).
• Managing and coordinating the interfaces with payroll accounting is also part of your responsibilities.
• You will also be responsible for manual postings supported by the digital workflow, the coordination of the relevant accounting and reporting tools, and the corresponding quality assurance in accounting (QÜS).
• You will lead projects and initiatives within your area of responsibility, with a particular focus on process optimization.

What you bring with you

• Relevant expertise in finance and accounting, along with a solid education in banking or business, will lay the foundation for your future challenges.
• In addition, you have several years of practical experience in accounting, ideally at a bank and with SAP Unix modules.
• You have already gained successful leadership experience.
• You stand out for your analytical, structured, and process-oriented approach to work; you demonstrate a high degree of initiative and possess sound reasoning skills.
• As a proactive, resilient, and assertive person, you find it easy to remain capable and loyal even in challenging, structured, or ever-changing situations.
• Ideally, you have some experience with SAP and/or Rexia.
