Head of Operations Accounting

What you can expect

• You will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and credit control, including the entire credit application workflow.
• You will lead, coordinate, and help your team of four employees grow.
• Together with your team, you will ensure that bank reconciliations and payment distribution list reconciliations (DV & TC) are properly coordinated.
• Managing and coordinating the interface with payroll accounting is also part of your responsibilities.
• You will also be responsible for manual journal entries supported by the digital workflow, reconciling the relevant fixed asset accounts, and managing the internal control system (ICS) for accounting during the fiscal year.
• You will lead projects and initiatives within your area of responsibility, with a particular focus on process optimization.

What you bring with you

• A solid foundation of expertise in finance and accounting, along with experience in organizational development and process management, will form the basis for your future work.
• In addition, you have several years of practical experience in accounting, ideally in the areas of financial reporting and management accounting.
• You have already gained successful leadership experience throughout your career.
• You are known for your analytical, structured, and process-oriented approach to work; you take a high degree of personal responsibility and are able to convey your way of thinking.
• As a proactive, resilient, and assertive leader, you are able to remain decisive and solution-oriented even in challenging situations.
• Ideally, you should round out your profile with experience in SAP and/or Rexia.
