Head of Accounting

Hypothekarbank Lenzburg is seeking an experienced individual to serve as Head of Accounting, who will assume responsibility for the financial management and further development of the company. The position involves ensuring and further developing group consolidation, regulatory reporting, and monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense processes.

Tasks

- Ensuring and further developing group consolidation and group reporting, including the group manual, consolidations, accounting and valuation principles - Responsibility for preparing quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements for Hypothekarbank Lenzburg AG and all subsidiaries, including consolidated financial statements - Responsibility for the Group's regulatory reporting - Monitoring and optimizing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense processes and the associated systems - Preparing the presentation for the annual report - Evaluation, introduction, and operation of consolidation software - Active participation and assumption of technical responsibility in the processing of the bank's various strategic projects - Close cooperation with the CFO and selective participation in meetings of the Executive Board and the Audit and Risk Committee

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in accounting in the banking sector
  • Higher education or further training (e.g., banking specialist, certified public accountant, university degree or comparable qualification)
  • Proven leadership experience with a strong hands-on mentality
