Head of Accounting

Hypothekarbank Lenzburg is seeking an experienced individual to serve as Head of Accounting, who will be responsible for the financial management and further development of the company. The position is 80-100% and offers an interesting range of tasks in a dynamic and professional environment.

Tasks

- Ensuring and further developing group consolidation and group reporting, including the group ledger, consolidations, and accounting and valuation principles - Responsibility for preparing quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements for Hypothekarbank Lenzburg AG and all subsidiaries, including the consolidated financial statements - Responsibility for the Group’s regulatory reporting - Monitoring and optimizing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense processes as well as the associated systems - Preparing the presentation for the annual report - Evaluation, implementation, and operation of the consolidation software - Point of contact for internal and external audits regarding questions about the annual financial statements - Active participation and assumption of technical responsibility in the handling of the bank’s various strategic projects - Close collaboration with the CFO and selective participation in meetings of the Executive Board as well as the Audit and Risk Committee

Requirements

- Several years of experience in accounting within the banking sector - Advanced education or professional training (e.g., banking specialist, certified public accountant, university of applied sciences degree, or equivalent) - Proven leadership experience with a strong hands-on approach
