Access Operation / System Engineer 100% (m/f/d)

Location and working hours

• Location: Zurich
• Working hours: Full-time

Tasks

• Monitoring of end-to-end access management operations in full compliance with the service catalog and ITIL
• Development of scalable automation models, role-based access controls (RBAC), and efficient approval workflows
• Work closely with project teams and key stakeholders on IAM-related initiatives to ensure seamless integration of access controls into system implementations and transformations.
• Advising technical teams and business units as a senior advisor, providing expert advice on access operations, policy interpretation, and solutions for unusual or high-risk access scenarios

Requirements

• Recognized degree in information technology or at least five years of experience as a Microsoft Active Directory system administrator (MCSA or equivalent certification preferred)
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and reporting within Active Directory
• In-depth knowledge of Windows file system management, including NTFS permissions and Distributed File Systems (DFS)
• Familiarity with HR processes such as Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) and organizational change procedures to ensure accurate and timely access updates during personnel changes
• Practical experience with identity and access management solutions and concepts, including role-based access, provisioning workflows, and periodic access reviews
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent projects efficiently and systematically
• Self-motivated, dependable, and resilient, with a strong sense of ownership, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement
