As an Enterprise Account Executive at Preqin, you will have an immediate impact on sales and build a strong pipeline. In this role, you will generate new subscriptions across the market by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for growing revenue from existing accounts within a specific sales territory and supporting renewal efforts.Key aspects of the role
* Manage the entire sales cycle from start to finish, securing leads and building trust through direct interaction with stakeholders * Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities within a defined sales territory; this includes new prospects and existing customers * Provide potential new business clients with an understanding of Preqin’s products and offerings, while building new relationships with key stakeholders at each company * Supporting strategic aspects of the renewal cycle for selected client relationships, with a focus on expansion opportunities within accounts * Providing clients and prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations (in person or by phone)Requirements
* 5+ years of sales experience in new business development and/or account management within financial services, alternative investments, or B2B SaaS sales * Demonstrable success and a proven track record of meeting quotas and sales targets * Negotiation skills related to upselling, cross-selling, and new logo opportunities * Knowledge of the financial markets, alternative assets, and the financial services industry * Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with a thirst for and aptitude for problem-solving and a willingness to deliver positive results * A responsible, motivated, conscientious, and results-oriented work ethic, with the ability to manage your own priorities to meet deadlines * Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects * A desire to be a phenomenal team member who can quickly integrate and build relationships * Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and IT skillsWhat we offer
