Account Manager, Employee Banking, 100% (fixed-term contract, start date February 1, 2022 / 8 months of maternity leave coverage)
Julius Baer is seeking an Account Manager for Employee Banking (100%) in Zurich for a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The position involves managing client accounts, handling onboarding processes, and providing support for client service and project work.
Tasks
- Service levels for day-to-day tasks and comprehensive management of a client base on an individual bank basis for investment clients, provided that we have a relationship manager assigned to them.
- Account management, including new customers and throughout the entire customer journey (e.g., KYB, transactions, deposits, fees, etc.).
- Managing the account lifecycle for new clients, such as account opening (WFI forms regarding assets, ensuring that accounts are fully customized and KYC/KYB-compliant) and client onboarding (legal matters, taxation, etc.).
- Work on projects (e.g., customer onboarding and offboarding, project management, reporting, etc.).
- Providing services to customers worldwide in an independent and professional manner as part of our account management.
- Routine matters and the current processing of account mandates.
- Working with clients in client relationships and self-managed client accounts, particularly regarding: deposits, recommendations, accounts, high-net-worth individuals, pension funds, and family relationships.
- Business Development.
- Maintain the internal reports that generate the development report, taking into account the environment itself and the account's growth.
- Formulating and clarifying operational methods and concepts, taking into account the account's environment and growth.
- Strategic communication of new services to the account, including documentation of the account's current and future key areas and challenges.
- Implementation of business intelligence, integration, comparative management, and retention of the active customer base.
- Advising customers on their service needs to identify opportunities for improving service levels.
- Promoting organizational and personal skills to stimulate business growth.
Requirements
- Either at least 5 years of experience as an accountant with a grade of 8+ at a private bank, such as Klarna, or additional experience outside of Investor Privatbanking.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English; knowledge of an additional language, such as Italian or French, is a plus.

- Experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) or Account Manager (AM).
