Account Manager Intermediaries 100% (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Account Manager for Intermediaries who will be responsible for managing client accounts and handling documentation, and who will work closely with the relationship managers. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to work, and a high level of expertise in financial markets and wealth management.

Tasks

  • Ensures that accurate and high-quality client relationship documentation is always maintained and kept up to a high standard, including client identity documentation (CID), account opening forms, and other relevant legal forms
  • Ensure that operational account management is carried out professionally, with all tasks and system alerts addressed directly whenever possible, or through the Relationship Manager (RM) when necessary
  • Participates in client meetings and, if necessary, leads parts of the meeting (e.g., documentation formalities, compliance, other client inquiries)
  • Maintains client key data in consultation with the RM to ensure that the CRM and other records are accurate for effective relationship management
  • Interact with clients in an independent and professional manner in all aspects of account management
  • Proactively takes the lead in supporting RMs/TH in client relationships and all related tasks (systems, applications, processes, documents, etc.) with high quality, precision, and timely responsiveness.
  • Ensures that operational coverage and client interaction (not consulting) are maintained within the team during absences
  • Creates and provides clients with customized information, reports, and statistics

Professional and technical skills

  • A strong affinity for the geographic markets covered, i.e., familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment as well as cultural awareness
  • Deep understanding of relevant products, services, and tools in intermediaries and family offices
  • Advanced knowledge of global financial markets and current developments in the industry
  • Successful completion of the applicable internal AM Intermediaries & FO training program
