Account Manager Intermediaries 100% (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Account Manager for Intermediaries who will be responsible for managing client accounts and handling documentation, and who will work closely with the relationship managers. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in client management and excellent language skills in English and Mandarin.
Tasks
The responsibilities of the Account Manager for Intermediaries include:- Handling account administration, documentation formalities, and tasks related to account administration in day-to-day operations and projects
- Ensuring that accurate and high-quality client relationship documentation procedures are always followed and maintained at a high standard, including client identification documentation (CID), account opening forms, and other relevant legal forms
- Professional execution of operational account management, including all tasks and system alerts that can be resolved directly or through the Relationship Manager (RM)
- Participating in client meetings and occasionally leading parts of the meeting (e.g., documentation formalities, compliance, other client inquiries)
- Proactively maintain key client data in consultation with the Account Manager to ensure that the CRM and other records are accurate, thereby fostering strong client relationships
- Independent and professional interaction with clients in all aspects of account management
- Proactively support the RMs/TIH in client relationships and all related tasks (systems, applications, processes, documents, etc.) with a high level of quality, precision, and responsiveness
- Ensuring operational coverage and client interaction (not consulting) within the team during absences
- Creation and provision of customized information, reports, and statistics for clients

Professional and Technical Skills
The required skills are:- A strong affinity for the geographic markets covered, i.e., familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment as well as cultural awareness
- In-depth understanding of the relevant products, services, and tools in the Intermediaries & Family Offices sector
- Advanced knowledge of global financial markets and current developments in the industry
Education & Experience
The required education and experience are:- At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) or 3 years of experience as an ARM and a relevant advanced degree (e.g., bachelor's degree, CFA/AZIEK/CAIA), not including any apprenticeship period
- Excellent language skills (written and spoken) in English, Mandarin, German, and French are a plus
- Proven track record in serving bank customers with complex needs (onboarding new customers, maintaining and expanding existing relationships)
- Successful completion of the applicable internal AM Intermediary program
