Account Manager - Intermediaries

The Account Manager - Intermediaries is responsible for managing client accounts and performing administrative tasks in the Wealth Management division at Julius Baer. The position requires banking experience, excellent communication skills and a high level of organizational skills.

Job description: Account Manager - Intermediaries

Tasks

  • Client Administration and Management:
    • Professional execution of operational account management tasks
    • Supporting the Relationship Manager (RM) and the team in customer interaction
    • Independent and professional interaction with clients in all aspects of account management
    • Ensuring accurate and high-quality customer relationship documentation
    • Active maintenance of customer data in cooperation with the RM
  • Business Management:
    • Organization and follow-up of customer meetings
    • Supporting the RM with investigations and troubleshooting
    • Management of internal projects that have an impact on customer relationships
    • Creation of suggestions for improvement based on experience
  • Other:
    • Full adherence to compliance, legal and internal guidelines
    • Function as the first line of defense against risks
    • Documentation of appropriate values and behavior

Requirements

Education and experience

  • Relevant work experience as Assistant Relationship Manager or 3 years experience as ARM
  • Job-related university degree (e.g. Bachelor, CFA or similar)
  • Successful completion of the internal ARM training program
  • Proven experience in serving banking clients with complex needs

Professional skills

  • Advanced knowledge of the financial markets
  • Familiarity with the geographic market
  • Advanced understanding of relevant products and services
  • Very good command of English (written and oral)

Regulatory requirements
