Account Manager

The Account Manager at Julius Baer in Singapore (remote) is responsible for providing comprehensive client service, onboarding clients, and fostering long-term relationships with private and institutional clients. The position requires 2–5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, and offers a base salary of approximately 180k plus a bonus.

Core Responsibilities

  • Customer Onboarding & Building Relationships:
    • Help clients establish a framework for their customer/order structure and gain a professional understanding of all aspects.
    • Maintain customer files and onboarding documentation at any time.
    • Explain the company's and product offerings using customer-focused materials, both as a team and with the sales staff.
    • Develop proposals regarding a client's investment strategy, key objectives, and budget requirements.
    • Onboarding: Serve as the day-to-day and post-onboarding relationship manager for all aspects of onboarding.
  • Management:
    • Plan and communicate clients' financial goals.
    • Document client goals for initial consultations and reviews.
    • Understand the complete financial plan based on new customers' documents.
  • Communication:
    • Organize and schedule regular client meetings, phone calls, and webinars.
    • Work closely with product experts, asset managers, and other colleagues as needed.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure that all necessary regulatory documents are completed.
    • Monitor and escalate customer issues.
  • Coverage:
    • Track and report on key pipeline and onboarding metrics.
    • Provide accurate and timely information for customer reporting.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Support research and development activities as needed.
    • Provide support for marketing initiatives and market research.
    • Take responsibility for managing social media channels.
    • Conduct due diligence.
    • Travel to customer locations.
