Account Manager Private Banking - NRI Switzerland

The Private Banking Account Manager – NRI Switzerland is responsible for managing client accounts and supporting relationship managers at Julius Baer in Zurich. The position requires a strong commitment to customer service, excellent communication skills, and at least 3–5 years of experience in private banking.

Tasks

The responsibilities of the Private Banking Account Manager include:
  • Client Administration & Management: Ensuring that accurate and high-quality client relationship documentation is maintained
  • Operational Account Management: Professional handling of tasks and system alerts
  • Assisting the Relationship Manager (RM) with client relationships and related tasks
  • Independent and professional interaction with clients in all aspects of account management

Business Management

The responsibilities in the area of business management include:
  • Management of internal processes related to the RM's account relationships
  • Resolving administrative issues and ensuring that all relevant systems are maintained and updated
  • Collecting and sharing relevant information, ideas, trends, and research findings to improve processes and boost productivity and quality

Risk management & controls

The responsibilities in the area of Risk Management & Controls include:
  • Support for risk management (first line of defense) through client-specific documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies and standards
  • Timely resolution of outstanding issues and escalated defects
  • Ensuring appropriate, ethical, and compliant conduct in positions of greater responsibility

Requirements

The requirements for the Private Banking Account Manager include:

  • A proven track record of successfully serving existing bank customers with diverse needs
  • Successful completion of the internal AM-PB training program
