Account Manager Private Banking - NRI Switzerland

Julius Baer Bank is seeking a Private Banking Account Manager – NRI Switzerland to manage client accounts and support relationship managers. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in private banking and excellent communication skills.

Tasks

The responsibilities of the Private Banking Account Manager include:
  • Client Administration & Management: Ensuring that accurate and high-quality client relationship documentation is created and maintained
  • Operational account management: Professional handling of all tasks and system alerts, either directly or through the Relationship Manager (RM) when investment-related advice is required
  • Supporting the RM in client relations and all related tasks
  • Interact with clients in a professional and independent manner in all aspects of account management

Business Management

The responsibilities in the area of business management include:
  • Management of internal processes related to the RM's account relationships
  • Resolving administrative issues and ensuring that all account systems are maintained and updated
  • Collecting and sharing relevant information, ideas, insights, and research findings with colleagues to improve processes and boost productivity and quality

Risk management & controls

The responsibilities in the area of Risk Management & Controls include:
  • Support for risk management (first line of defense) by ensuring the accuracy of client documentation
  • Adherence to local regulations and compliance with internal policies and standards
  • Ensuring that all client forms and escalations are processed in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that ethical and compliant behavior is upheld in positions of greater responsibility

  • In-depth knowledge of non-spot markets
  • At least 5 years of experience as an ARM, or 3 years of experience as an ARM and a relevant advanced degree
  • Excellent language skills (written and spoken) in accordance with specific market requirements
  • Proven track record in serving bank customers with complex needs
  • Successful completion of the internal AM-PB training program
