Private Banking Account Manager - UK International & Canada, Zurich
Julius Baer is seeking a Private Banking Account Manager in Zurich to manage clients in the UK International and Canada segments. The role involves managing client relationships, providing proactive advice, and ensuring compliance and operational accuracy in wealth management.
Tasks
- Ensure that the foundation for up-to-date, high-quality customer relationship management is established and maintained in accordance with the defined key areas (including customer identification, guidelines for customer interactions, and proactive wealth planning).
- Work with your assigned financial management partners, as well as internal and external consultants, to provide high-quality investment solutions and offer timely, effective, and professional advice.
- Proactively take direct responsibility for day-to-day client relationships and the quality of those relationships in collaboration with the second team until all current handoffs to the portfolio managers (PMs) are complete.
- Support the Relationship Managers (RM) in activities related to investment planning needs, initiatives, processes, and topics such as estate planning.
- Ensure operational accuracy and effective customer interaction by collaborating with the front desk, the investment team, and the operations team to review issues, cases, processes, and quality criteria, making consistent use of reports and dashboards.
- Help the RMs promote Julius Baer's platform (wealth management, corporate banking, private equity).
- Manage the BAER systems to capitalize on business opportunities, and use the information system and the CRM system to manage various data and business cases in order to proactively increase productivity and quality.
- Keep track of tracking and follow-up activities (e.g., annual documentation, ongoing checks during new customer interactions), ensure that reports and audit controls are in place, and review differences in activities among client companies with complex solutions.
- Ensure that a high level of compliance and regulatory standards (AML/KYC) is maintained, including participation in regular training sessions.
- Ensure effective outcomes (e.g., targets) related to identifying key opportunity areas (e.g., new customer acquisition, customer retention, expansion of existing business) in collaboration with team members and relationship managers.
- Support the RM team with market analyses, trend analyses, and competitive analyses.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of the investment advice provided to clients.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in an ethically sound manner and in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.
Requirements
