About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager with a focus on affluent clients to join our rapidly growing Sygnum Select team in Zurich.Main tasks:
- Taking responsibility for acquiring and maintaining new customer relationships with private customers.
- Telephone, email and face-to-face contact with our valued customers to provide solution-oriented support and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Settlement of fiat and digital asset transactions as well as transaction tracking and AML monitoring.
- Leading the client onboarding process together with internal stakeholders (legal & compliance, operations) and external service providers.
- Continuous updating and maintenance of the CRM for an accurate record of all relationships.
- Develop an expert understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape by learning Sygnum's offering and strengths, understanding regulatory developments and building a strong professional network.
Ideal candidate:
- A specific individual with a strong interest in developing a career in relationship management and business development.
- The ideal candidate would have at least 1-3 years of experience in customer service/client care for private or institutional clients within a financial institution or similar.
- A positive, forward-thinking personality with a proactive can-do attitude and a great team player mix with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy with a hands-on mentality.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm to learn about the world of digital assets and gain expertise in our product and service offerings.
- Goal and results oriented with an entrepreneurial attitude, able to work independently and under pressure.
- Experience in onboarding clients (private clients or legal entities) and familiarity with Swiss banking regulations and onboarding documents, especially CDR20 is a plus.
- Language skills: Fluent English is mandatory. Additional language skills are an advantage.
