As an Account Manager at Sygnum Select, you will support affluent clients on their journey into the world of digital assets and be responsible for acquiring and managing client relationships. About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager with a focus on affluent clients to join our rapidly growing Sygnum Select team in Zurich.Main tasks:
- Taking responsibility for acquiring and maintaining new customer relationships with private customers.
- Telephone, email and face-to-face contact with our valued customers to provide solution-oriented support and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Processing of fiat and digital asset transactions as well as tracking and processing of transactions in the context of anti-money laundering.
- Leading the client onboarding process together with internal stakeholders (legal & compliance, operations) and external service providers.
- Continuous updating and maintenance of the CRM for an accurate record of all relationships.
- Develop an expert understanding of the cryptocurrency market landscape by learning Sygnum's offering and strengths, understanding regulatory developments and building a strong professional network.
Ideal candidate:
- A specific individual with a strong interest in developing a career in relationship management and business development.
- The ideal candidate would have at least 1-3 years of experience in customer service/client care for private or institutional clients within a financial institution or similar.
- A positive, forward-thinking personality with a proactive can-do attitude and a great team player mix with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy with a hands-on mentality.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm to get to know the world of digital assets and gain expertise in our product and service offerings.
- Goal and results oriented with an entrepreneurial attitude, able to work independently and under pressure.
- Experience in onboarding clients (private clients or legal entities) and familiarity with Swiss banking regulations and onboarding documents, in particular CDR20, is an advantage.
- Language skills: Fluent English is mandatory. Additional language skills are an advantage.
