Account Opening Support Specialist - Ireland
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Account Opening Support Specialist in Dublin to assist with account opening, maintenance, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in account opening, knowledge of AML, KYC, and EDD, and a solid understanding of client documentation requirements.
Tasks
- Supporting front-office staff in opening, maintaining, and documenting accounts
- Performing all tasks related to customer onboarding as the first line of defense
- Establishment of a single point of contact between Compliance and HM/HMA
- Ensuring quality and meeting deadlines when opening accounts
- Collaborate with the front-office risk manager and the compliance team to receive constructive feedback and ensure continuous improvement
- Ensuring low to zero rejection rates for account openings by improving the quality of KYC/SoW
Requirements
- Experience in opening accounts
- Knowledge of AML, KYC, and EDD
- A good understanding of the requirements for customer documentation—for individuals and businesses
- Willingness to follow instructions and carry out tasks assigned by managers
- Providing professional and excellent service
- Commercial Thinking
- Ability to meet deadlines and KPIs
- Manage all customer data with due care and in compliance with data protection guidelines
- Customer Confidentiality - Awareness of and Compliance with Banking Secrecy and Non-Disclosure
