Junior Oracle & PostgreSQL Administrator
BCV is seeking a Junior Database Administrator for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases to handle the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the databases and contribute to the institution’s success. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in database administration and a solid knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.

Junior Oracle & PostgreSQL AdministratorTasks
- Ensure the day-to-day administration and proper maintenance of the Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
- Contribute to the continuous integration process for our applications by automating and standardizing eligible database operations
- Contribute to performance management and query optimization
- Contribute to the drafting and updating of technical documentation and operating procedures
- Participate in on-call duty
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s degree or equivalent)
- 1–3 years of experience in database administration
- Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Experience in administering Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
- Experience in monitoring/supervising data flows
- Fluency in French; English at the B2 level (minimum)
- Analytical thinking, ability to synthesize information, and a sense of responsibility
