Tasks in detail
- Accelerating education and civic engagement:
- Become the person people turn to when they want to understand what AI can do for businesses
- Conducting workshops, pair-building sessions, and demos to turn concepts into users and users into builders
- Introduction to tools and business benefits at the intersection of AI/technology and business
- Create investable templates, playbooks, and guidelines that scale your impact beyond 15 engagements
- Solving real-world business problems with AI:
- Rapid prototyping and development of solutions using Python, LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI), and the MAA platform (our internal platform)
- Creating end-to-end solutions, from problem analysis with stakeholders to a fully functional solution that they can use
- Focus on initial market solutions to create scalable artifacts
- Driving process transformation:
- Mapping end-to-end business processes (customer lifecycle, reporting chains, operational workflows) and identifying where AI offers the greatest impact
- Designing a new process or redesigning an existing one, but redesigning
- Collaborate with the strategy team to deliver cross-functional improvements that benefit multiple business units
- Developing the business case; defining metrics, measuring benefits, and presenting results to management
- Building AI product knowledge:
- Become an expert in M&A capabilities: what they can do today, what’s on the roadmap, where the gaps lie, and how to demonstrate ROI and translate it into practical applications for M&A
- Stay up to date on the latest AI trends, techniques, and best practices
- Build bridges between the AI engineering team (which builds the platform) and the business (which uses it), and translate requirements in both directions
- Maintaining and updating the platforms; developing tools, integrations, and workflows that become part of M&A’s shared capabilities
Requirements
The following requirements are essential:- 5–10 years of experience in roles that combine technical delivery with solving business problems
- Sample skills: You don't necessarily need to be a systems engineer, but you must be able to create prototypes, work with APIs, process data, and design features
- Previous experience with large language models (LLMs); you have built things using Claude/GPT or similar
- Experience working with stakeholders; you can work with a senior
