AI Software Engineer, Full-Time (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is looking for an AI Software Engineer in Madrid to develop and validate LLM and RAG pipelines, as well as to integrate AI components into existing platforms. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in software development with a focus on DevOps/MLOps, cloud environments, and the automation of development processes.
Tasks
- Prototype and validate Large Language Model (LLM)-based or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to drive business value
- Contribute to AI-driven automation initiatives across developer productivity platforms, improving efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and maintain APIs, pipelines, and service integrations for AI features within existing platforms, such as CI/CD, observability, and developer work environments
- Ensure traceability, logging, and compliance for integrated solutions, in accordance with enterprise standards
- Drive best practices for automation, monitoring, and reproducibility, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Your Profile
- 2–4 years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong background in AI integration and automation
- Strong knowledge of DevOps/MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and APIs
- Experience integrating machine learning (ML) and generative AI components into production systems, with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability
- Security-conscious and familiar with enterprise standards for tools, ensuring the highest levels of data protection and compliance
- Comfortable working in agile and cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or proven relevant work experience
- Very good English proficiency
