AI Software Engineer, Full-Time (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Design, implement, and improve full-stack applications for financial analytics and customer-facing solutions across web, iOS, and/or Android platforms, enhancing the user experience.
• Create a versatile business middleware layer for the user interface, enabling secure, dynamic content delivery, tailored data retrieval, and seamless integration across platforms while maintaining system integrity and the security of cloud resources.
• Build robust APIs and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient workflows with cloud providers and promoting collaboration and organization in DevOps practices.
• Provide technical expertise in system design, product performance optimization, and quality assurance, with a focus on scalability, compliance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, data, and UX) and other engineering teams (e.g., ML engineers) to shape the roadmap while providing hands-on support for critical systems, data infrastructure, and platform development.
• Drive technical innovation and excellence by collaborating with fellow engineers to develop cutting-edge solutions and raise the bar for code quality, system design, and best practices across the engineering team.
• Champion the organization of engineering practices and decision-making processes, establishing an industry-leading framework that maximizes impact while maintaining a sustainable pace.

Requirements

• Familiar with modern machine learning methods (deep learning, generative AI components in ML pipelines, NLP such as LLMs)
• Proficiency in Python or other high-level programming languages, familiarity with vector and matrix data structures, and ML frameworks (such as PyTorch)
• Experience compiling and running ML models on NVIDIA GPUs and AI accelerators; proficiency in containerization (Docker / Kubernetes)
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels, with strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a creative approach to problem-solving
• Works with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, both individually and as part of a team, and is skilled at managing competing tasks and projects to drive impact and achieve the following
• Agile, capable of generating large amounts of data (RAG)
• Committing to best practices in quality, security, and compliance, and adapting them for the financial services industry.
