About this role

BlackRock’s Aladdin Business supports the investment process by developing, delivering, and supporting our enterprise investment management platform (“Aladdin”). The Aladdin platform provides strategic advisory and enterprise investment system services to our clients. Front Office Value Delivery (FO Value Delivery) is specifically designed for teams that invest in technology and data science. Our Markets team serves a diverse mix of external institutions, including asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, general partners, asset managers, and governments around the world.

Tasks

As a member of the Aladdin team, you will: * Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them identify, understand, and solve complex analytical problems * Build relationships with client teams to understand their business goals and needs, and help them leverage Aladdin’s expertise to achieve their business objectives * Develop engagement campaigns with end users and go-to-market strategies to increase Aladdin penetration and commercial results in assigned client segments * Build strong internal relationships within the Aladdin team and across the BlackRock organization to support our clients * Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ business objectives and help them leverage Aladdin’s expertise to achieve their business goals * Deliver effective solutions that combine expert knowledge across the entire investment lifecycle with your understanding of financial markets * Work closely with Aladdin product managers, developers, and financial modelers to further develop the Aladdin platform’s value proposition

Requirements

You have: * Experience with buy-side investment management systems/tools and knowledge of portfolio manager styles, tools, and processes * Experience in project execution * A working knowledge of risk, data analysis, and client reporting processes, gained through direct experience or in a consulting capacity * Knowledge of capital market instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives), including private markets such as private equity, infrastructure, and real assets * A consultative approach to understanding client needs and a passion for problem-solving, combined with a commercial mindset and a drive for revenue-generating opportunities * A strong interest in technology, with knowledge of databases and the ability to learn new systems * A self-starter mentality and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment as part of a multidisciplinary global team * Emotional ownership, pride in what you do, and a strong team ethos * 2–5 years of experience in financial services, technology, consulting, or buy-side firms
