Job description

As FIG M&A VP at Alantra Iberia (Madrid, Spain), you will be part of a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and play a key role in our FIG team, specifically in the M&A practice. Your daily responsibilities will include, among other things:

• plays a central role in the execution and management of active mandates, from presentation through to closing, with support from senior and junior team members
• strong customer focus, with the customer's perspective at the heart of project management
• Identifying and anticipating customer needs, planning for oneself and the team
• Identifying and organizing junior staff to meet deadlines and focus on top priorities
• Serve as a role model for junior team members through ongoing coaching and training to challenge, develop, and empower them
• Demonstrating a commercial mindset and the ability to propose ideas to clients that could lead to potential future business for the company

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

• excellent financial knowledge (accounting and business valuation) and an understanding of financial reports
• strong technical skills to process large amounts of complex information
• an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to contribute your own ideas and work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and in a context of shifting priorities
• strong communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
• Attention to detail
• Fluency (both written and spoken) in English and Spanish is a mandatory requirement
• A dedicated, rigorous, and detail-oriented approach, combined with the ability to take initiative and make decisions
• the highest standards of personal conduct, professional performance, and business ethics
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required
