Job description

As an Alantra Iberia FIG M&A Vice President (Madrid, Spain), you will work in a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and become an integral part of our FIG team, specifically in the M&A practice. Daily responsibilities include: - Playing a central role in executing and managing active mandates, from presentation to closing, with support from senior and junior team members, and in transforming marketing ideas/leads into presentations or other appropriate marketing materials. - Significant client exposure, with the client’s perspective at the center of project management. - The ability to identify and anticipate client needs, and to plan for yourself and the team. - Identifying and organizing junior resources to meet deadlines and achieve goals, with a focus on top priorities. - Serving as a role model for junior team members through ongoing coaching and training to challenge, develop, and empower them. - Demonstrating a commercial mindset and the ability to propose ideas to clients that could lead to potential future business for the company.

Requirements

- Excellent financial knowledge (accounting and business valuation) and understanding of financial reports. - Strong technical skills and the ability to process large amounts of complex information. - An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute your own ideas and work independently. - Ability to work under pressure and in a context of changing priorities. - Strong communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written). - Attention to detail. - Fluency (both written and verbal) in English and Spanish is a mandatory requirement. - A dedicated, rigorous, detail-oriented attitude combined with the ability to take initiative and make decisions. - The highest standards of personal conduct, professional performance, and business ethics. - Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
