Algo Developer - Associate / Vice President

Tasks

• Deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for our algo traders.
• Participate in the entire project lifecycle, including technical analysis, design, development, testing, and support.
• Occasionally provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for front-office applications.
• Ensure adherence to the functional architecture strategy and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with the business and development teams on prioritization.
• Assist the project management team with the implementation of new systems or projects as needed.

Requirements

• Strong Java development skills, with the ability to implement and maintain complex coding structures.
• Flexible in dealing with new ideas and methods.
• Proactive and dedicated, with the determination to solve problems and deliver innovations.
• Demonstrates logical thinking and a focus on accuracy and completeness.
• A good understanding of risk factors and robust coding. A good understanding of financial terms and systems.
• Strong entry-level communication and project management skills.
• Strong industry knowledge, as well as knowledge of assets, asset management, and asset classes.
