Alternative Investment Advisor

Job description

As an Alternative Investment Advisor, you will be part of our Private Banking team and support our wealthy clients in investing their assets.

Tasks

• Advice for investment and private banking clients
• Management of cross-border investment solutions and asset allocation
• Evaluating new products and solutions in collaboration with the Investment and Private Banking team
• Preparation of investment proposals and regular review and adjustment of investment performance
• Presentation of investment recommendations and asset allocation to senior management
• Regular interaction with the investment management and research team
• Leading the identification of investment opportunities and asset allocation within Private Banking in EMEA and the US
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal customers (IWMPS, IC and RM) and external customers
• Coordination with global investment strategists and asset allocation specialists
• Participation and leadership in investment-related requirements with customers
• Communicating views and strategies to colleagues and relationship managers
• Presentations in front of large audiences (internal and/or external)

Requirements

• High academic qualification
• Good knowledge of financial markets and disciplines such as hedge funds, private equity, alternative investments
• Experience and strong skills in the selection of alternative investments in investment and asset management
• Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated personality
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Bloomberg
• Fluent in English and French, Arabic would be an advantage
