Alternative Investments Administration Services Performance Analyst Officer

The Performance Analyst Officer in Alternative Investments Administration Services is responsible for overseeing a team of performance analysts and assisting in the management of alternative investment portfolios, particularly in the areas of private equity, real estate and hedge funds. The role includes monitoring performance, reviewing and delivering reports, and assisting with ad hoc requests and strategic initiatives.

Job description

Tasks

  • Supervision of a team of performance analysts, support of client portfolios for alternative investments, focus on private equity, real estate, hedge funds and fund structures
  • Monitoring and management of performance, review and delivery of monthly and quarterly reports
  • Managing ad hoc customer requests, supporting audit and compliance activities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives such as system improvements, data automation and reporting

Requirements

Technical skills

  • Basic knowledge of investment performance measurements (Time-Weighted Returns (TWR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and performance variation (Net, Net Manager, Net All))
  • Functional understanding of private equity/accounting concepts and valuation methods, their accounting treatment and their impact on performance
  • Familiarity with analysis software/tools and the ability to present these to an audience
  • Contribute to strategic projects focused on process improvement, automation and reporting enhancements
  • Apply industry knowledge to refine and develop the current operating model
