Job description
Tasks
- Support in the accurate and timely calculation of net asset value
- Ensuring that all positions are correctly valued
- Verification that company measures have been processed correctly
- Processing and review of fund capital activities
- Implementation and support in reviewing cash and position reconciliations of listed and derivative products
- Monitoring the investigation and resolution of all deviating cash and position items
- Coordination with other departments on various fund inquiries and approvals
- Processing and reviewing various booking transactions
- Support in training and developing employees
Requirements
Education and preferred qualifications
- Degree in business administration, accounting or a related field
- Approximately 2 years of experience in a fund accounting environment, including knowledge of cash and position reconciliation in funds (hedge or investment funds)
- Knowledge of financial products such as: stocks, futures, fixed-income securities, options, etc.
- Knowledge of corporate measures is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong numerical/analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Very good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized and on schedule
- Good team player, with leadership experience a definite advantage
