Job description

Tasks

  • Support in the accurate and timely calculation of net asset value
  • Ensuring that all positions are correctly valued
  • Verification that company measures have been processed correctly
  • Processing and review of fund capital activities
  • Implementation and support in reviewing cash and position reconciliations of listed and derivative products
  • Monitoring the investigation and resolution of all deviating cash and position items
  • Coordination with other departments on various fund inquiries and approvals
  • Processing and reviewing various booking transactions
  • Support in training and developing employees

Requirements

Education and preferred qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, accounting or a related field
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in a fund accounting environment, including knowledge of cash and position reconciliation in funds (hedge or investment funds)
  • Knowledge of financial products such as: stocks, futures, fixed-income securities, options, etc.
  • Knowledge of corporate measures is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong numerical/analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Very good computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized and on schedule
  • Good team player, with leadership experience a definite advantage
