CA Gen / COBOL Analyst-Developer

Tasks

* Respond to requests from our clients (front, middle, and back office) in the area of consumer and business lending * Analyze business needs, structure, and propose appropriate technical solutions * Participate in business projects as an expert point of contact for analysis and development activities in a multi-technology Agile environment. * Perform corrective, evolutionary, and preventive maintenance on credit applications running on the mainframe. Handle incidents. * Develop, build, and prepare deployments of application components as part of platform development * Perform unit and integration tests * Participate in the continuous improvement of development and maintenance processes * Provide on-call support as needed

Requirements

* Advanced degree in IT or finance (master’s degree or equivalent) * At least 5 years of experience in a banking/insurance environment with similar responsibilities; experience in the credit field is a plus. * Experience analyzing and drafting functional and technical specifications for banking systems. Certification in requirements analysis is a plus (IIBA, PMI, or equivalent) * Proven experience in COBOL, DB2, SPUFI, and/or JCL development in a multi-technology application environment (CA Gen, COBOL, Java). Proficiency with the Broadcom CA Gen development suite is a plus. * Analytical and organizational skills, solution-oriented mindset, customer service orientation, and teamwork; ability to work independently * Swiss resident or willing to take up residence in Switzerland in the short term * English at B2 level
