About this role

The Latin America Business Operations team is part of Global Technology & Product Services (GTPS). The team provides a fully integrated service platform for the implementation and support of investment management systems, investment management and platform solutions.

Key tasks

  • The role serves as the primary client contact for managing the daily operational lifecycle of portfolios, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, resolving incidents related to payments, trading and other support functions, and building strong client relationships through proactive engagement.
  • Responsibilities include coordinating regulatory negotiations, monitoring external service providers, facilitating compliance with regulations such as KYC and AML, and monitoring performance through KPIs.
  • Expectations over time include opportunities to increase scalability through process improvement, alignment of regional practices with global standards to improve STP, and collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver a world-class customer experience.
  • The position oversees the trading lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely confirmations, settlements and reconciliations in coordination with custodians, brokers and internal and external stakeholders.
  • The Analyst role coordinates and maintains trade capture systems and documentation, SWIFT and other tools.
  • The role also includes the coordination of document management to illustrate effective operations.
  • As an Analyst, you will need to understand business requirements of our stakeholders. You will also explore opportunities for innovation by automating workflows and implementing AI and data analytics to support more efficient and less intensive processes and drive scalability.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, computer science or a related field is required, along with 0-2 years of experience in financial services, preferably in asset management, trading operations or customer service.
  • Candidates should have a solid understanding of capital markets, local regulatory frameworks and language skills in English and Spanish.
  • Technical skills in Microsoft Office and data visualization tools are required. Familiarity with Python, VBI and Aladdin is an advantage.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
