Analyst - Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking

This position offers the opportunity to be part of a growing team at the forefront of cross-border maritime investment banking. The successful candidate will support the origination and execution of transactions involving debt, equity, and hybrid instruments, and will work closely with senior bankers to gain experience with high-profile international deals in the shipping and offshore sectors.

Tasks

- Contributing to the execution of capital-raising and advisory engagements in the maritime and offshore industries. - Assisting in the creation and maintenance of financial models to support valuation, structuring, and transaction analysis. - Support in preparing pitch books, presentations, investment memoranda, and other documents. - Conducting portions of the due diligence process and coordinating with legal, technical, and commercial advisors.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, business administration, or a related field. - Previous experience in investment banking, merchant banking, or investment management, ideally with experience in the shipping, oil and gas, or transportation industries. - Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. - High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv) is a plus. - Excellent communication skills in English and Greek (native speaker). - Ability to work under pressure, with strong attention to detail and a collaborative attitude.
