Analyst - Maritime & Offshore Investment Banking

Tasks

Successful candidates will support the origination and execution of transactions involving debt, equity, and hybrid instruments, work closely with senior bankers, and gain exposure to high-profile international deals in the shipping and offshore sectors. Key responsibilities include:

• Contribution to the execution of capital-raising and consulting engagements in the maritime and offshore industries.
• Assistance with the creation and maintenance of financial models to support valuation, structuring, and transaction analysis.
• Assistance with preparing pitch books, presentations, investment memoranda, and other materials.
• Conducting portions of the due diligence review and coordinating with legal, technical, and commercial advisors.

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in investment banking, merchant banking, or investment management, ideally with experience in the shipping, oil and gas, or transportation industries.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Greek (native language).
• Ability to work under pressure, with a keen eye for detail and a cooperative attitude.
