About this role

The Role: Implementation Specialist Title: Analyst Location: Gurgaon

Tasks

• Responsibility for the daily requirements of vendor data configurations for new and existing Aladdin Data Factory solutions
• Delivery of data products, plots and outputs to business partners
• Promotion of data governance and data stewardship
• Ongoing support for the production use of the Aladdin Data Factory
• Implementation of analytics and reporting solutions that deliver business value
• Gain in-depth knowledge of the Aladdin data functions
• Provision of high-quality customer services externally and internally
• Answering queries and resolving questions from internal BlackRock partners
• Function as business analyst for business solutions to meet customer requirements

Requirements

• Excellent academic record and strong understanding of the business domain in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Economics, Finance or a related degree program
• A "student of the market" with a passion for learning about the investment management business
• Tireless desire to understand processes and solve complex problems
• Understanding of risk analytics for fixed income, equities and alternatives
• Strong critical thinking skills and demonstrable experience in using technology to solve problems on a large scale
• Successful experience in managing and completing large and complex projects
• Ability to multi-task and manage cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment
• An excellent team player who can work in an innovative, ambitious and fast-paced environment
• 1-3 years of experience with Python or Java is an advantage
