CA Gen / COBOL Analyst-Developer
BCV is seeking an analyst-developer with at least 5 years of experience in the banking sector who specializes in the development and maintenance of credit applications in a mainframe environment (CA Gen, COBOL).
Tasks
- Responding to Our Customers' Inquiries
- Analyze and structure business needs and propose tailored technical solutions
- Participate in business projects as a coordinator for analysis and development in an agile, multi-technology environment
- Perform corrective, enhancement, and preventive maintenance on the credit division applications running on the mainframe. Handle incidents.
- Development, assembly, and preparation for the development of application components as part of platform development
- Perform unit and integration tests
- Participate in the continuous improvement of development and maintenance processes
- If necessary, ensure Level 1 and Level 2 support to manage the on-call service
Requirements
- Advanced degree in IT or finance (master's degree or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of experience in a banking or insurance environment with similar responsibilities; experience in lending is a plus
- Experience in analyzing and developing functional and technical specifications for banks. Certification in requirements analysis is a plus (IIBA, PMI, or equivalent)
- Proven development experience in COBOL, DJCL/SP2, SPUF, and/or JCL in a multi-technology application environment (CA Gen, COBOL, Java). Proficiency with the Broadcom CA Gen development suite is a plus.
- Analytical skills, organizational skills, solution-oriented approach, service-oriented mindset, and team spirit; ability to work independently
- Swiss resident or willingness to relocate to Switzerland on short notice
- English Level B2
