IT Trading Analyst and Developer

BCV is seeking an IT Trading Analyst and Developer with at least two years of experience in the banking or insurance industry, as well as in-depth knowledge of SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, and DevOps tools. The candidate should hold a master’s degree in IT, finance, or the natural sciences and, ideally, have knowledge of C/C++, Python, Java, and trading platforms such as Kondor® or Front Arena.

Votre profil

  • Basic education in IT, finance, or the sciences (master's degree or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a banking or insurance environment
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (SYBASE ASE, Oracle, etc.) and Windows (cmd and PowerShell)
  • Proficiency in scripting under Unix/Linux (csh, sh, bash)
  • Knowledge of software factories (C#/CD - Maven, Jenkins, GitLab, Sonar)
  • Knowledge of C/C++, Python, Java, DevOps architecture, and microservices is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Kondor® (Finastra) application or the Front Arena (FIS) application is welcome
  • Experience in analyzing and writing functional specifications
  • Strong interest in systems architecture and IT process automation
  • A desire to expand one's skills and knowledge in a multi-technology application environment
  • Ability and interest in developing expertise in areas related to a trading floor (front and/or back office for securities, derivatives, FX, and/or market risk)
  • Resident in Switzerland or intention to take up residence in Switzerland
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, a solutions-oriented approach, a commitment to service, and a team spirit, while also being able to work independently
  • Fluent in French; English at the B1 level
