Your contribution

• Development of data-based decision-making principles for the implementation of monetary policy using modern empirical methods;
• Design and development of analysis tools and applications that support market observation;
• Preparation of contributions for the quarterly monetary policy assessment and reports for the attention of the bank management;
• Participation in the operational implementation of monetary policy on the markets.

Your knowledge and experience

• Master's or Ph.D. degree with a quantitative focus (economics, finance, data science, engineering);
• Great interest in the financial markets, the economy and monetary policy;
• Proven strength in data analysis, solid programming skills and a good understanding of modern empirical methods;
• Very good oral and written communication skills in German or French as well as in English;
• Place of residence in the vicinity of Zurich due to plannable evening assignments.
