API Developer / Java Full-Stack Developer
LGT is looking for an API Developer / Java Full-Stack Developer who will be responsible for developing trading-related microservices and APIs. The ideal candidate has experience as a full-stack developer, particularly with Java, Angular, and Spring Boot, as well as knowledge of microservices architecture and trading-related interfaces.
Your area of responsibility
As an API Developer / Java Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the successful development of trading-related microservices and APIs with internal or external endpoints. These APIs typically transmit transactional events and master data for trading instruments. Another key aspect of this role is interfacing with and connecting to the systems of other transaction partners, as well as providing support to them.Your profile
- Proven experience as a full-stack developer or in a comparable role, ideally in an API- and microservices-based environment
- Substantial hands-on experience with the relevant technology stack, particularly Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Kafka, GitLab, Jira, web servers, and databases
- Strong understanding of Java design patterns and modern principles of microservices architecture
- Familiarity with trading-related interfaces and processes, ideally in the areas of FIX and web services/REST; knowledge of AWS or Terano's Data Science (TDS) and/or experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, combined with a detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as very good English skills; knowledge of German is a plus
