Application Integration Engineer 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Responsible for the development, implementation, and support of FIX integration solutions and order trade flows on the company's financial messaging infrastructure (BCOM)
• Configuring FIX sessions, protocol parameters, and connectivity to customers and ISVs
• Development and maintenance of message flows within the existing middleware architecture
• Design, coordination, and administration of FIX certification tests for onboarding clients
• Support for project inquiries from the Markets environment (Front Office, Trading)
• Analysis of new, customer-specific requirements and design of the corresponding integration
• Conducting detailed root-cause analyses in the event of production incidents
• Providing technical expertise during the customer onboarding process
• Ensuring stable and continuous operation of the FIX and MQ messaging infrastructure
• Article on Monitoring and Automation Initiatives Using meshIQ Products
• Participation in the team's rotating 24/7 on-call schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science (from a university or university of applied sciences) or
• Professional IT resume with a strong technical background, including knowledge of Unix/Linux and databases, middleware, web/app development, and Java
• Equivalent qualifications in the IT or banking industry (e.g., ACCA, CFA, FRM, MC SA, etc.)
• At least five to ten years of relevant experience
• Ability to work independently in project environments and in a 24/7 operation
• A service-oriented attitude and a willingness to take responsibility for technical problems
