Application Manager

Liberty Vorsorge AG is seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Application Manager at its Seewen-Schwyz location, who will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and technical parameterization of applications. The position offers a varied and challenging role with a wide range of tasks, from application support to the coordination of improvement and automation measures.

Tasks

The following challenges make this position exciting and varied:
  • Primary responsibility for the operation, monitoring, and technical parameterization of the applications assigned to you (operational data store, data warehouse, and data interfaces)
  • You will take on the role of deputy for the internal applications Investment and Pension Cockpit.
  • Application support for incidents and change requests (1st and 2nd level)
  • SQL queries
  • Needs assessment among key stakeholders such as managers, end users, and external providers
  • Coordination of improvement and automation measures in the area of payment transactions and securities settlement
  • Performing tests and ensuring proper functioning in accordance with requirements
  • Collaboration in projects

Requirements

Your profile:
  • Trustworthy and solution-oriented personality
  • Basic commercial training in the financial sector with relevant further training in business informatics, finance, and business administration
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of application management and databases
  • Knowledge of OpenAPI and the Finnova banking system or banking in general is an advantage.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, quick comprehension, and a structured and thoughtful approach to implementation
  • High quality awareness, ability to work independently, and teamwork skills
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
