Market Surveillance Application Manager (m/f/d)
DZ PRIVATBANK is seeking a Market Surveillance Application Manager who will be responsible for trade monitoring in the capital markets and provide proactive support for the market surveillance software. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field, as well as the ability to tackle both business and technical challenges.
What you can expect
- As part of the compliance function, you are responsible for trade monitoring in the capital markets.
- As part of the Capital Markets Compliance team, you will provide dynamic support for our market surveillance software.
- Point of contact for questions, incidents, and reporting system errors and critical software vendors
- They identify areas for improvement to further develop monitoring software.
- Active support for capital markets compliance (e.g., with regard to MiFID II, the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG), and the German Banking Supervision Act (MaRisk))
- Monitoring of inspections by the technical department and the retail division
- Liaison between the department and IT regarding interface adjustments and software releases
What you bring with you
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable degree, possibly in related fields
- Ability to overcome professional and technical challenges
- Basic understanding of trading processes
- Interest in creating dashboards, analyses, and reports, ideally using analytical and/or programming skills (e.g., Python, VBA, SQL, Tableau)
