Market Surveillance Application Manager (m/f/d)
DZ PRIVATBANK is seeking an Application Manager for Market Surveillance (m/f/d) to oversee trading surveillance in the capital markets and support market surveillance tools and processes. The ideal candidate holds a degree in computer science, business informatics, or business administration and has experience in data generation and the optimization of compliance processes.
What you can expect
- As part of the compliance function, you are responsible for monitoring trading in the capital markets and investigating market manipulation and insider trading.
- As part of the Capital Markets Compliance team, you will support our market surveillance tools and processes
- Serve as the point of contact for questions and incidents, document system errors, and collaborate with software vendors
- You identify areas for improvement and contribute to the further development of monitoring tools
- Active support for capital markets compliance (e.g., with regard to MiFID II, the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG), and the German Banking Supervision Act (MaRisk))
- Assisting with inspections conducted by regulatory authorities
- Liaison between the department and IT regarding interface adjustments and software releases
What you bring with you
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable degree
- Ability to understand the business and technical challenges of trading processes
- Basic understanding of trading processes
- Interest in data generation and the optimization of compliance processes, such as in the area of AML
