Market Surveillance Application Manager (m/f/d)
The Market Surveillance Application Manager is responsible for trade surveillance in the capital markets and provides support for the market surveillance software in terms of monitoring and system performance. The position requires a college degree in a relevant field and the ability to handle technical and business challenges.
What you can expect
- As part of the compliance function, you are responsible for monitoring trading in the capital markets, particularly with regard to market manipulation and insider trading.
- As part of the Capital Markets Compliance team, you will use our market surveillance software to monitor and analyze market dynamics
- Point of contact for questions, incidents, and documenting system errors, and coordinating with software vendors
- You identify areas for improvement and contribute to the further development of monitoring software.
- Active support for capital markets compliance (e.g., with regard to MiFID II, the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG), and the German Banking Supervision Act (MaRisk))
- Assisting with inspections conducted by regulatory authorities in the trading sector
- Liaison between the department and IT regarding interface adjustments and software releases
What you bring with you
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable degree, or a degree in a related field
- Ability to overcome professional and technical challenges
- Basic understanding of trading processes
- Interest in creating dashboards, analyses, visualizations, and compliance processes—for example, related to AML, CFT, etc.
