Application Operation Manager 100% (f/m/d)
The Application Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring and improving the operational processes of IT services at Julius Baer in Zurich. The position requires at least five years of experience in IT projects or operations, a dynamic and agile mindset, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Tasks
- Monitoring the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with predefined service level agreements
- Implementing ACI as a gatekeeper for changes to the platform and ensuring compliance with IT governance (e.g., security, risk management, technical debt management, etc.)
- Continuous improvement in service quality, availability, performance, capacity, and knowledge management
- Independent and detailed troubleshooting of technical platform components
- Ensuring the proper adaptation and implementation of non-functional requirements in collaboration with the IT service owner and the application engineer, as well as coordinating the transition to test and production environments
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in projects and/or operation of IT applications and/or data platforms
- Dynamic and agile mindset, passionate about operations, operational improvements, and automation
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, coordination, and leadership skills
- Relevant education and professional background in computer science
