The Application Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring the operation of an IT service and ensuring that service level agreements are met. The manager works closely with various teams to ensure smooth operations and continuously improve service quality.

Tasks
- Responsible for monitoring the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with specified service level agreements
- Comprehensive understanding and careful tracking of all service dependencies and proactive lifecycle management
- Act as the first point of contact for operations, support, maintenance, and the overall service lifecycle.
- Maintain an IT service or an infrastructure component, ensuring that service level agreements and operational level agreements are in place and fulfilled.
- Manage seamless operations end-to-end, collaborating closely with 1st, 2nd level, DevOps teams, and external service providers
- Act as gatekeeper for any change in the IT Service and ensure compliance with IT governance (e.g. Security, Risk Management, Technical Debt Management etc.)
- Improvement of service quality, availability, performance, capacity and knowledge management, active participation in the development of the Application Owner Manager community
- Act as the Operations champion for new features. Ensure that the operational health of the platform is represented when new features are being defined.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in projects or operational management of IT applications
- Dynamic and agile mindset, passion for operations
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, coordination, and leadership skills
- Relevant education and professional background in computer science
