Job description

Tasks

• Responsible for monitoring the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with specified service level agreements
• Manage seamless operations from start to finish, coordinating with 1st and 2nd level support, DevOps teams, and external service providers.
• Act as gatekeeper for changes to IT services and ensure compliance with IT governance (e.g., security, risk management, technical debt management, etc.)
• Continuous improvement of service quality, availability, performance, capacity, and knowledge management; active participation in the development of the Application Owner Manager community
• Act as an operations advocate for new features, ensuring that the operational health of the platform is represented when defining new features.
• Owner of service and asset configuration management for assigned IT services (HPSM, ARIS, IAM roles) and IT service continuity management for assigned IT services
• Ensure proper customization and implementation of non-functional requirements in collaboration with the Application Engineer and coordinate the transition to test and production environments
• Responsible for measuring, documenting, and optimizing software usage, including regular license compliance checks in close cooperation with SAM

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in projects or operational management of IT applications
• Dynamic and agile mindset, passion for operations
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, coordination, and leadership skills
• Relevant higher education and professional background in computer science
