Application Operation Manager
The Application Operation Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for monitoring and controlling the operation of an IT service to ensure that it runs according to specified service level agreements. The focus is on the continuous improvement of service quality, availability and performance.
Job description
Tasks
- Responsible for monitoring the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with specified service level agreements
- Comprehensive understanding and careful tracking of all service dependencies and proactive lifecycle management
- Manage seamless operations end-to-end, collaborating closely with 1st, 2nd level, uervps team, and external service providers
- Act as gatekeeper for any change in the IT Service and ensure compliance with IT governance (e.g. Security, Risk Management, Technical Debt Management etc.)
- Improvement of service quality, availability, performance, capacity and knowledge management, active participation in the development of the Application Owner Manager community
- Own responsibility for service and asset configuration management of assigned IT services (HPSM, ARIS, IAM roles) as well as IT service continuity management for assigned IT services
- Ensure proper customization and implementation of non-functional requirements in collaboration with the Application Engineer and coordinate the transition to test and production environments
- Responsible for measuring, documenting and optimizing software usage, including regular license compliance checks in close cooperation with SAM
